3. Durning installation enter your IP address
and check Remember IP/Hostname value. NOTE: Don't know your IP address? Go here:http://checkip.dyndns.org/
4. If you have a firewall you will need to open port 4567 and port 4568 for Ants.
NOTE: ANts requires two consecutive ports.
5. Give yourself a Nick name and then click Start ANts.
6. Click the Settings button and then the Settings Tab.
7. Check Publish ip on GwebCache.
NOTE: This helps you to get connected to the ANts network.
Ants also finds people to connect to through IRC. IRC in ANts is not anonymous.
8. When the first tab changes from Wait! ANts is connectiong... to Connected [Peers: X] (X being the number of connections you have), then you are connected to the ANts network and can search and download.
9. To add files to be shared click the Shared Files button and then the Shared Files tab at the top.
10. Click Add to add in as many folders as you want to share. After you add a file or folder it is hashed and then shared.
NOTE: ANts file hashing tends to be very slow.
